Mini Gingerbread Houses
Thursday December 22nd, 2005 12:05 AM
So.. this year I didn't have a lot of time to make gifts (I ended up buying most of my gifts) but I did want to make something for all my coworkers.

It took me about 3-4 hours to bake. I used this recipe, doubled it, rolled the dough thinner and baked for half the time. It made 20 gingerbread houses.

About 1 1/2 hours to assemble

This was my first "set" that I decorated. My boyfriend already ate his, which was the one in the middle

A quarter for size comparison - the quarter is resting on the gingerbread house on the right

A village!

I put the person's initial on the back too

Boxed and almost ready to go!
Boxes are from The Container Store in medium

It smells so good when you open the boxes

Boxed and ready to go!

Those are so cute! You must be a very patient person to have assembled and decorated 20 wee houses.
