Hey, thanks for joining in, udandi! You've got my curiousity picqued about that chili; is it a huge source of contention with people? Should I Google for anti-skyline web sites? ;) I'm feelin' the Dollar $pot love, too, and just *adore* your description of your bed. Everyone should have such a place in their lives, hopefully close at hand.

growing up in our house, you couldn't say you didn't like something unless you tried it. I have friends who won't eat it, but dog it - that's who I'm talking about.
The problem is that it is Cincinnati-style chili is unlike what many think of when they think chili. If you think it's going to be like your momma's chili with heaps of beans and so spicy you burn your stomach lining, you're going to be disappointed.
This chili is sweet, made with a bit of chocolate and cinnamon, and served on spaghetti with grated cheese, onions or beans or as a coney. It's an acquired taste and some of us "homers" get it at a young age!
last time i had some skline was 1993, but i can still taste it and it was yummy! you have fabulous taste udandi.
(and i listen to your mixed CD you made me for a glitter swap so i know you have good taste in music as well as food).
