Q: I looking for pictures of early designs of glass beads. I am looking for evolving styles from the beginning of glass bead manufacturing to the present day.

A: Take a look at 'Lois Sherr Dubin's', "The History of Beads". If your library doesn't have it, you might request it from inter-library loan, or take a look at a copy at your local 'Barnes & Noble', or 'Borders Books'. This book contains a wonderful timeline of beads throughout history. Perhaps, take a look at the big chart at the end of 'Sher Dubin's' book "The History of Beads". It is probably in your local library.
