Wedding Thank You Gift Card
It's time to tell everyone thank you that gave you a wedding gift or just came to your wedding. There are a few rules that when it comes to sending out your thank you cards. The very first thing you will want to do is to know who gave you each gift that you received. In order to do this you will need to have a notebook and pencil to write down each gift as it comes in and who gave the gift.
You will want to take the notebook to your wedding reception also. Give this important job to one of your bridesmaids or other distant family member, as you and the groom will be busy doing other things. This is an important job to undertake, because there may be other things that you may want to remember about the person giving the gift. You may want to know what else they done to make your day more memorable. You will need to have each gift givers address to send your thank you card to. After the reception, and honeymoon, you will need to sit down and make your thank you cards personalized by recalling what gift you received and if they done something else, you will want to thank them for those deeds as well. Don't forget about the bridesmaids, photographer, caterer, groomsmen, and ushers.
In order to make your thank you cards more personal you will want to expressly mention the gift they gave, for instance, "Dear Aunt Lou, Thank you for the fondue pot. Tom and I enjoy using it when we entertain". Don't forget to also thank them for coming to your wedding this will let them know that you noticed they were in attendance and appreciate it.
To personalize your thank you gift cards even more you could add a photo from your wedding. Always write thank you at the end of your card and sign off with sincerely yours, or love. This will show the thank you gift card recipient that you did notice their presence at the wedding and that their gift is appreciated. This will also make them feel special and loved.
If you have forgotten to bring your notebook to the reception don't fret, you can also write down the name and gift on each card or gift tag. If no tag or card is attached to the present simply write the information on the gift box.
