Angels.
Q: Can anyone tell me where I can get a pattern to make angels out of crystal beads, or pearl-like beads, and what I can have for wings, could that be 'Filigree'? I am also thinking of birthstone angels. Any information would be good.
A: There are some angel beads up for sale currently somewhere. It was either 'Amazon' or 'Justbeads'? She used a piece of lace for the wings. I have made angels using silver and gold wire in different sizes, threading the beads on the wire, and then looping it to form the body. I also use the wire to form wings. I wrap it around my fingers, pinching it in the middle, then spread the loops to form the wings. Check out the about.com site, in the "beadwork" area. There are either patterns, or links to crystal angels there.
