I Am Going To Open A Bead Shop For Japanese People.
Q: I will make a homepage about beads, and sell beads for Japanese people. The beads market in Japan is not as big as in USA. However, if I do it right, I think beads can be a big hit, just like 'Tamagochi'.
A: Last summer, the international 'Glass Arts Society' held their convention in Japan. Japanese glass and bead lovers were introduced to the variety of lampwork (handmade) glass beads - mostly from the USA. They are expensive - but they would provide the unusual designs that the Japanese love. Please check out 'The Society Of Glass Beadmakers' website at http://www.sgb.com, and my own website (with links to other beadmakers) of 13+ pages at httep://members.aol.com/codyhaha/index.html We have been a large distributor in the Los Angeles area for over 65 years. We sell all plastic beads, glass, wood, ceramic, etc. We also carry cords, jewelry findings, and craft supplies. We do have a catalog available, if you would like. I like your idea about opening up a store for the Japanese people. We are a major wholesaler/importer of semi-precious stone beads, round and shapes by the strand. We also deal with Balinese sterling silver beads.we would like to discuss your needs, and would be pleased to quote you pricing. Milt Criswell 'Accents Beads'.
