Using Charms.

Q: Does anybody have any ideas or examples for creative things to make with charms? I would like to stay away from a conventional charm bracelet, and maybe incorporate some beads into the design. I might try a necklace.

A: This may be a bit farfetched, but what would happen if charms were dangled from buttons down the front of a blouse, etc.? A very simple, but rich looking button with a tiny chain, or link with the charm on it. Oh well...just a thought! I just finished making myself a nametag in flat, even count peyote. The tag is suspended from a gold plated skirt pin, and suspended from the tag like a fringe, are a selection of charms that have meaning to me. Or, I could have attached them onto the surface of the peyote piece, hmmm... maybe that tag isn't finished after all! :) You can use charms at the end of beaded or hemp hair wraps or hair "Dangles" I have some on my 'Hair Dangle' pages... http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/Paradise/4581/dangles.html
