Q: This sounds interesting, but call me gun shy. I've gotten scammed before and make it a policy not to send money to someone ahead of time with only the promise of merchandise to come. Please don't take this personally, I'm sure you are as honest as you sound. But think--how easy would it be for someone to make this offer and take off with the money?

A: Actually, I'd like to find a group of people to do something like that on a fairly regular basis. We could compare prices in all the catalogs, look for good quantity discounts, and make huge group orders. I'm willing to volunteer to do most of the work. I'd like to hear from people who might be interested in that. Would you believe I'm so honest this never even occurred to me? =) Kelly Keniston (you here?) knows me and so does Artemis Oakgrove. I've done several orders like this before. There's someone else here that was in on one with me but unfortunately, I can't remember her name right now. They can vouch for me if that would help. I honestly never thought of this, and you're right, and I'm not offended at all. I don't know of any other way to do it. If you can think of one, please let me know! Otherwise ... maybe it would be best not too, I don't know. Seriously, there is nothing to fear in ordering from or through Melissa. She's been a cyber-pal for years and we've been involved in swaps over on GEnie. Not to worry! Hi, I am also leary of sending my money, especially that large of an amount to someone I do not know.. How about a smaller amount in the beginning if you get enough people to respond. We could make a few small purchases with you until we know you better and the trust factor is increased with each sucessful buy :) Count me in if we can work together.
