'Tigereye' Seed Beads?

Q: I have been lurking in here for a couple of years but have only posted a couple of times. Is there such a thing as 'Tigereye' seed beads? If so, where can I find them. If not, what are the smallest 'Tigereye' beeds I can find, and where?

A: I just bought a hank of Hematite seed beads, size 14/0 from Bead Studio on 'Amazon'. Maybe they'd know about any 'Tiger's Eye' seed beads. Here's the contact information from the invoice I just received from them: 'Bead Studio' P.O. Box 514 Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816-0514 fax 208-765-0755 e-mail: be...@dmi.net Here's a link to their zShop: http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/ts/my-zshop/S114PD81V96LHQ/102-1200307- 5367311 Some manufacturers are making round semi-precious stone beads in 2 and 3 mm - the ones I have seen have all been at the gem shows, sold by direct importers. They don't have any names handy, though. I think that if I can't find the seed beads that the 2mm size would work. I have a friend coming to visit from across the states who loves 'Tigereye'. I really want to make something for her before she gets here. I will check out 'Rio Grande'.
