I subscribe to the house and home ones such as
Ladies Home Journal
and the only crafty one I get is Paper Crafts
Real Simple, Budget Living, Ready Made (READY MADE!), I read In Style every so often, Eating Well...
I like Ready Made too when I can find it. And I've been known to lift a few of those women's mags from the doctor's office. (heh)
I forgot to mention:
Better Homes and Gardens
I always get ideas from those two.
Mags at my house......
- UU World
- Budget Living
- Organic Style
- Nursing 2005
- Journal of School Health
- Cook's Illustrated
- MHQ- Military History Quarterly
- Scientific American
- Civil War News( I just don't 'get' this one...what news??? Actually it's for the who's who in CW research and hardcore reenactors)
Um.....we read alot.
Bust is one of my very favorite things in the whole world.
I also like Vanity Fair and Glamour, which is much better about body image than most other trashy women's magazines.
My favorite magazines (in no particular order):
Bitch - for pop culture
Venus - for music
Nylon - for fashion
the Economist - i won't explain myself
Southern Review - for poortry.
the new yorker, harper's, cooking light, budget living, ready made, national geo, this old house, real simple...
Bust, Bust, Bust!
(and some industry magazines, Lighting Dimensions, Entertainment Design, Special Events)
Also one or two trashy magazines whenever I'm taking an airplane (you know, the ones with "the summer style you CAN'T LIVE without" and "how to make him your devoted puppy dog with a simple flick of the wrist" articles)
Oh, and can I just say BUST!!! again?
*he he* Good one, Breewell. I know those articles. It seems Bust is pretty popular. I'll see if I can find it.
