i'd like to start making tea from my herb garden but before i do this i'd like to be a bit more knowledgable about the benefits/dangers of what i may be drinking.

    any suggestions?

This list of herb-related books might be useful. Especially the books on different kinds of herbs and plants.

You could also try googling "tisanes" or "herbal infusions", since drinks that don't contain the tea plant aren't technically teas. This page looks pretty useful. And here's a list of what different herbs are used for.

    Hope that helps!
