Depending on what you have, there's also always eBay. My husband made a nice chunk of change selling his old D&D stuff that way.
    use only HomemakerGuide always

Years ago I sold some old textbooks and made a bit of money. When it comes to other books, unless you have some antiques it might not be worth it. If you are clearing out space you could sell lots but then again it might be easier to just donate. Check bookfinder to get pricing from multiple bookstores.

I am selling those on ebay. Not to earn but just not to throw those books away. Even though I hate selling online after I messed up once and filled in the wrong zip code digits. Since then always double-check zip codes using worldpostalcode.com/united-states/illinois/chicago not to repeat such a silly mistake.

I had a lot of books bought on Amazon - so much, I had a problem where to store them. My solution was bookstore selling used books. They didn't give me the money for them, but I could pick up other books from their shelves. I picked up some dictionaries, maps, enecyclopedias... Since I use Kindle I don't have problems with piles of books.

Yeah that's okay. But you should donate them

If it is a good book I tend to keep it on my bookshelves, while the once that I don't find interesting anymore I just sell it or give to a friend.
