Kindle vs. Nook?

I have a Nook and love it! And for the Nook unless you have the wireless on all the time then you can go for a while without re-charging which is good for me since I have a tendancy to forget where I put my cord.

I had a question about the Kindle Fire because I was considering purchasing it: does it perform most/all of the functions of a regular tablet (e.g., iPad, Galaxy Tab) for that cheaper price of $199?

advice is do a side by side comparison. see which one has the most features.

Personally I would get a Kindle Fire.
The differances I see are Kindle runs a version of Android which supports more online apps and tools.
Nook runs Android too, but a lite version.
Amazon has a huge cloud service (AWS) that supports native Android apps.
IMO you get more for your money with the fire.
