The Kingkiller Series by Patrick Rothfuss.
The first book in the series is The Name of the Wind. Two books are out already, he's working on the third one.

It is such an amazing book. His writing is like poetry. It's like nothing you've ever read before. It's so beautiful! Also it's an amazing love story

Hands down, my favorite author is Robert Jordan, for his Wheel of Time series (14 volumes!). He creates an incredibly detailed world, it becomes real, as real as the world we live in, only different. It's also a masterful plot. And it's neat how in the beginning, for several books, actually, the women are the powerful one, and that stretches on so long you think it will never change, but half-way through the men start to rise to power. And he really captures peoples emotions very well. I cried and laughed joyfully with the characters. And of course, it never ends!

My fave author is Mitch Albom. I guess, everyone will love his books especially if you will try reading , " The Five People You Meet in Heaven" It will change what you knew about life after death.
