    Where to sell your crafts

GetCrafty should have a where to sell your crafts topic. There are quite a few out there but if you dont know where to find them you wont know. There is etsy.com as well as sourceunlimited.com and many more.
This would be good info to share to all getcrafty members.

There are many opportunities, to sell your crafts and creations.
Start your own craft fair in your town, place fliers in public places etc. Rent a spot or do it in your own back yard, that will get everyone up and going.
As for online shops, Etsy is a huge one, shophandmade, eBay, just to name a few. Even create your own website, to combine all your creations shops and ideas.

what Shay Bug suggest it is a good idea, also if you do it in your own back yard, What about if you invite a couple of crafty friends, so you can share experiences and customers.

Don't forget Zibbet. They're a good one too, similiar to Etsy but smaller and cozier.

How about a Forum to discuss the options. What is your opinion of Etsy, community craft fairs, etc? What works well for you, what doesn't? Suggestions for success? Questions about why something doesn't sell, etc. I am just starting on this journey and I've been haunting the on-line sites for a year watching what sells, and what doesn't. I can't wait until I have enough time and resources to really get started on my own journey. Can a Forum be started with separate threads for each type of selling outlet?

    Hi
We now have just started a new craft platform Craftgo.us.
It's in beta stage so we are looking for testers to give us some feedback.
I love testers and we will compliment them every time they complain.
Seriously it means everyone gets a better site to sell crafts in the end
All testers will get 6 months free listings and no fees
Actually the site charges a nominal fee of 3% so its essentially free.
We developed and coded the site over the past 4 months and hope it will be used by craft people to sell online.
We decided to design our own platform because our own shops were getting lost on the bigger platforms.
We let craft people set up in our Craftgo.us domain but their crafts are automatically listed on our overall craftgo.com domain
So craft people are local and international at the same time.
We hope to see you set up your stall with us soon
