Parsnip, potato and spinach chowder, first chowder attempt, pretty yum
and a glass of red to get me in the mood for some study.
And coming here first is NOT procrastination, ok?

    It was leftover/pantry night so:
Boboli bread, smoked salmon alfredo sauce, mushrooms, small jar of artichoke hearts and the rest of the mozzarella. Baked 8 min and chowed down.

Lemon Dill chicken (cook the chicken in half a stick of butter for 6 minutes, add half a cup of wine, a tablespoon of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of dill, bring to boil, reduce and cover, simmer for 15 minutes) with some boiled salt potatoes.

    i have using a lot of jesser's recipes (http://www.jesser.org/cookbook/index.php)

the last few nights i made the savory chicken packets (i add garlic, cheddar cheese, and use chipotle mayo), as well as the ham and swiss bread pudding (YUM!). check out our fellow glitterati's site for some crowd pleasers!

Me & the mister were both working late into the night, so it was our favorite quickie-dinner: Mahatma-brand Red Beans & Rice, on tortillas with shredded colby-jack & lots of Tapatio.

    The usual:
spinach sauteed with garlic, raisins, and pinenuts.
    cottage cheese
sliced strawberries with cool whip free

Sometimes instead of spinach I have sweet potato oven fries, and instead of strawberries I have raspberries. I should get a little more creative.

i dug this post up just so i can share!

i made a big bowl of pasta with sauteed eggplant (those little indian ones are adorable!), little tomatoes, teeny mozzarella cheese balls, a big bunch of basil and lots of parmesan cheese with olive oil, salt and pepper. it is so yummy!

but after reading danielepea's post i suddenly want cereal. and i'm full!

p.s. i wish i picked up some pinenuts.

Mmmmmm jangrl... I'm not a fan of eggplant but everything else sounds yum-yum-yummy! I think pasta is on the menu tonight!

Last night was a carb-fiesta! I boiled up a potato and a small rutabaga, dropped them in the food processor with some soymilk, butter and cottage cheese, added some garlic and spices and blended me up a bowl of the creamiest mash ever! Some creamed corn and green beans on the side. Ohhhh, that was a good feed!
