ya i know the party's over....but i have to share my idea! if nothing else than for the next party thrower looking for ideas!!

have a color themed party: everything is red. the plates, the napkins, have your ceiling full of red helium balloons, the invites are red, the font is red on the invite, the rule is that everyone must wear red (either all the way or something red), serve red colored food (not by food coloring, but naturally red colored food: strawberries, cherries, steak?, jello, wine, pasta with red sauce, pepperoni pizza, cherry tomatoes.....

and of course any color would do! but i can't think of many blue foods!

so anyway, if anyone should ever do this...PLEASE POST!! i'd love to hear about it!

    Have to post this:

    Blue mashed potatoes.

And day later I made some kind of bread from that mash.

And that color is natural, potatoe is called Blue Congo.

A color-themed party sounds like fun. You could always go with blueberries! A good centerpiece for any colored party would be colored daisies. I think you can get some white daisies and stick them in water with food coloring, and they absorb the color, so the petals turn out whatever color you want. Just an idea. :-)
