three foods you love right now

    hello...
what a good idea for a forum!

    here are mine

    -seedless sunkist navel oranges
i like to cut them in half and cut in half again and cut the fourth's in four and eat them right off the peel they're so good and i'm afraid they'll be gone soon

-spinach salads with a quick garlic and olive oil, salt/pepper and white wine vinegar dressing
with tiny cherry tomatoes and some grated farmer cheese yum!

-frosted mini wheats with unsweetened silk soy milk
    a little yin and yang

i've trying to break myself of the taco bell soft taco supreme and kit kat thing i had going during our recent moving stress and i'm doing pretty good!

    :)

    EDAMAME!

I've been sick, and for some reason I craved edamame more than anything. I also ate a lot of:

    Trader Joe's Little Bows soup
    Yellow corn grits

Now I'm getting better and other things have started to sound good to me again, but those couple of days when I was really miserable, those three things were the only foods that appealed to me at all. Grits for breakfast, soup for lunch and/or dinner, edamame as a snack or a meal.

Oh WEIRD. That post about edamame was mine. Apparently something is screwy with my cookies and this site - it lets me log in, but it doesn't retain the login after I leave the login page. I didn't notice, and I guess the board lets you post as a guest!

Steamed broccolli and baby carrots with a little butter and spices... mmmmm....

    Fried zuchinni with garlic

Not food, and normally I'm not much of a drinker, but I tried this at the liquor store the other day and am obessing about going back to buy some: http://www.amarula.co.za/ Oh man, that is some tasty stuff!

... and look what I found whilst searching for info on Amarula: cherry bombs! Now those sound fun! ;o)

Thai spring rolls that have avocado, cream cheese, scrambled egg, and rice and the sauce over it.

A sandwich my family/friends call "salad on bread" but is really cucumbers, mushrooms, baby spinach, and a light dribble of italian dressing and parmesan cheese. It's an honest-to-God sandwich! WHEAT BREAD!

I feel like I could eat portabello on bread, too, right about now. I'd love that. Someone to cook some of them and then add some kind of cheese on maybe ciabatta bread or something.

I'm not even a vegetarian, but I might as well be.
