wristbands are just a small tube. you can make a chart of a fish using the tool here:
omg that is an awesome sight. and here i went and made my own charts for everything using the guides in photshop. WAY time consuming. :) thaks for posting that!
yea i saw that site before i posted. its awesome.
I don't have the book with me but I make wristbands all the time with a slight variation, I only use one string of yarn, changed the dimensions and don't do inerstarsia.
Off the top of my head its:
Cast on as many as you need to go around your wrist (usually 30 something, that's divisible by 4).
Then do 2x2 ribbing for a couple of rows, then stockingnette stitch with your pattern insterted, then equal 2x2 ribbing and cast off.
yea. i finished it in about an hour and a half, bc i kept screwing up my jesus fish.
i measured my wrist, and measured a couple other wristbands i have lying around, and then did my gauging. so its all done. yay :)
i dont have a cam so i cant post a pic. im gonna see if my friend can take one this week/weekend some time :D
i'm glad it worked out for you!
yay i just reseamed it so its smaller. :) it feels way better.
