what do i do w/ my quince chutney?
a friend of mine gave me a huge jar of quince chutney - what else can i do w/ it besides eat it w/ cheese? can i baste meats w/ it? pls help - it's a HUGE jar!

YUm!!! Lucky you! YOu could use it in marinades etc. Or just have it on sandwiches with cold meats and salad.

Ahhh. I was going to recommend eating it with cheese. In particular, King Island Dairy Roaring Forties blue cheese. I don't think it would matter how large the jar of quince paste was if my husband and I were let loose with it and some crackers and blue cheese. :-)

It would also be good on Saint Andre cheese (very creamy... like a cross between brie and butter, but with a drier texture).
I think it would be delicious on some roast pork tenderloin.
