    Anyone do no-bake cookies anymore?

Seriously, my kids are all grown and they still love 'em. They're somewhere between cookie and candy, but they're great. Pretty cheap and quick, too. If you've never had the pleasure, here's the recipe I use:

    No-Bake Cookies

    2 cups sugar
    cup (one stick) margerine
    cup milk
    2 tbsp cocoa
    cup peanut butter
    1 tsp vanilla
    3 cups quick oats

In heavy saucepan, stir sugar, margerine, milk and cocoa together. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat and boil, stirring, for three minutes. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until melted, stir in vanilla, then stir in oats. Immediately drop onto waxed paper and let cool completely.

I LOVE NO BAKE COOKIES!!! Me and my sisters use to make them all the time when we were growing up! They are so easy and we always had the ingredients around the kitchen. The funny thing was with us they never turned out the same, because we used a recipe like 1 time and did it from memory from then on so somtimes they were more chocolatey and other times more peanut buttery, no matter what they were good!

You have to cook them (the sugar/butter/milk mixture) longer (before you put the oats in)... because they're like candy, they have to get to a harder stage to set.
