ISO the perfect cookies.
I have been hosting a craft get together, and I like to serve cookies to go with the coffee and tea that I have for the ladies. I've already baked dozens of yummy shortbread cookies, but woman can not live on shortbread alone! (I have some awesome double fudge cookies too, but my husband's friends ate nearly all of them already.) What are your favorite cookie recipes? (Not very crumbly ones are best, since they get in the yarn. *winks* Also, the recipe should be ideally higher yield, producing two dozen cookies or more per batch.)
Thanks!

My favorite are Russian Tea Cakes... They are small and round (like a hemisphere) and coated in several layers of powdered sugar. I like them because the dough is not very sweet, but filled with pecans.
I also love lemon bars...

These cookies are interesting for a change, but not everyone will like them. I made them last week and gave some to my roommates, some to my parents, and some to my grandparents. Some people loved them, and some people thought they tasted like soap. I made a batch with rosewater and a batch with orange blossom water (those were more popular.)

These lime meltaways are very good! They always go over well with everyone. I have made them as a lemon and orange variations too, they are all good.

In my opinion, anything with the word "meltaway" in it is bound to be delicious.

My favorite cookies are my mother's pumpkin chocolate chip recipe that she taught me. I usually only make it the fall though (she would even make them from full sized pumpkins but I always cheat and use canned)
