    Wild strawberry Jam

I wanted to share with you all something my family just did. We found out we have wild strawberries on our land (thanks to my 7 year old daughter noticing them..lol..) So, we picked them and made Jam. Oh, boy it's the best jam I have ever had in my life. I love it!

I posted how I made it on my blog at (it's toward the middle of the page.)

Just wanted to share that with you all.

YUM! looks delicious. I'm imagining it on a perfect piece of homemade white toasty bread.

How many strawberries did it take? I found some growing in our complex that I was told I could use. I'm afraid it won't be enough though.
    Your jam looks delish!!!!

if you don't have enough for jam, maybe just use them to make a compote or sauce, and use it to top a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream or french toast.

I didn't really weight them but in that picture you'll see that I had a lot of them and I also added some of my other strawberries (which is also pictured in that same picture.) I used ALL of the ones in those pictures to make 9 little jars of jamm.

I have a few more out to pick today and I am going to make strawberry soap with that (at least I am going to try to.) They say that it's a good cleaner and that it tightens skin. I honestly don't know because I have never had strawberry soap before but I'll let you know how it turns out if you want.

    Soap with wild strawberries.

I had to come back and let you all know that I made some soap with the wildstrawberries. I didn't use many (10 of them for 2 reg. size bars, and one small bar.) I love this handmilled soap stuff and the strawberries made it really good.

I was told that strawberries help tighten your skin. Not sure if it really does but I love how my skin feels.

    I posted about it here.
