VERY Favorite Cookie Recipe?
I've collected tons of good cookie recipes over the years, but I'm always looking for more!
Here is one of my favs:
CINNAMON CHOCOLATE SHORTBREAD COOKIES
• one cup flour
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• ¾ cup butter (softened)
• one tbsp ground cinnamon
• ¼ cup baking cocoa
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients and blend well. Drop one-inch balls of dough on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake cookies at 350°F for eight minutes until bottoms are lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool.

Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies
This is my favorite recipe. They are tasty with raisins added too.
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 scant cup brown sugar
1 scant cup white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
cinnamon - to taste
mix thoroughly then add
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup non-hydrogenated margarine
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
lots of chips
Mix with your hands and drop heaping spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 9 - 10 minutes (you know your oven). Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet after you take them out of the oven for a few minutes (easier to remove from tray).
No eggs means gooey is OK! Enjoy
