Anyone have experience with making tear-out coloring books? Need glue advice :)

I am making hard back coloring books for my niece and nephew, and have about 50 loose leaf papers all printed out and ready to go.

I am debating different glues to use. I have a made plenty of books in the past, but the goal has always been strength and durability, and I have always sewn signatures.

For loose leaf, easy tear out, but with strength and flexibility (I will be pre opening each page before giving it to them so that they can open it and it will lay flat), would you recommend hot glue, PVA, Elmers, or any other glue I am not thinking of?
