    Old CDs Craft

Has anyone every made a craft with old CDs or the CD cases? My parents are moving out of their house and they have a bunch of old CDs and cases to get rid of and I was thinking about if there is any type of craft I could do with them with my kids. Any ideas?

    Hey friends,
Old cds are something that become a total waste once out of use. Now what to do with them? This is where an idea struck my mind! all I did was I grabbed a few of them and one by one thrashed them and smacked them with my hands to break it into chunky large sized pieces. Next all I did was I took my glue gun, and an old mirror that was lying around in the basement of my house!
I gave a nice and thick border to the entire mirror with chunky pieces of the broken cds! the end result was so amazing! the spectrum colors looked stunning with the sunlight hitting on the mirror! My old mirror just got totally revamped!

PS: breaking the cds is such a stress buster!

And here is one more cd project I love. It's a paper mache apple, that was painted with white acrylic paint and than pieces of cds were glued (use mod podge for example).

We used to sling shot CD's our a penthouse window 22 stories in the sky, then we would collect the shards and make cool mirrors of our flying frenzy haha. Luckily no one ever got hurt.
