New Swap --Recycle My Clothes
OK Ladies, here's the skinny:
We all have an item of clothing in the closet that we love but will probably never wear again. Maybe it's stained or out of date or worn out or too small/big, whatever. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone make that old thang into something brand new?
PM me by next Friday, Jan 21, and I will match you with another craftista. You will have one week to send out -- and receive -- the item. You will have 1 month to recreate and then return the recycled/remodeled/reconstucted item back to it's original owner. It can be any sort of clothing -- pants, sweater whatever--, and it can be altered in any way-- dyed, decorated, decoupaged, anything!!
Sounds fun? Please respond if you're into this 100%!

Maybe whats wrong with it to,like if it's too small you wouldn't want to get it back the same size...
I would prefer not to ship out of the country for my swappie,no offense craftistas!
will you keep us updated? even though i am way to pregnant to participate, i would love to hear how it's going and ultimately see what people make!
im completely in. I live in mexico but i would send the clothes with usp or fed ex. is it ok??
my email is firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm so in!
I would love to participate in this. I think we should include if the size is correct, don't you?
Wow, looks like we have 12 in so far, including one from Mexico, Canada and Australia. So if you're from one of these countries and don't want to pay a ton of postage, you can be paired up with someone closer.
This swap is open til the end of the week, so let's get even more people in!
I'll send more details to those involved.

What an awesome idea! And how funny, I just cleaned my closet out this weekend! But one question....does the item have to be returned as a clothing piece still, or can it be transformed into anything?
