Anyone in the Nashua/Manchester/Concord NH area?

Are there ANY crafty people around here? Perhaps an existing group or is there any interest in starting one? I know a few but it would be great to create or be part of a larger group!

    nh crafting

    Hey there,

I am moving to Concord at the end of August and I'm a crafting-demon! Bagmaking, embroidery, the occasional crochet...and I'll be leaving my Bay Area craft group behind...so I am up to craft if anyone cooks something up, or maybe I'll have to start collecting crafters on my own once I'm in town ;) !!!

hello. i live in concord NH. i have no clue how to knit but might be willing to give it a try :) i used to know how to do a very (and i mean very) basic crochet.
i'm not nearly as crafty as you guys but really want to be! does that count?!?

Yeeeeehhhaaaaaw! Sounds like we may have the beginnings of a craft group here ;) It is not the level of experience that defines the crafter, it's the pure uncontrollable need to MAKE STUFF!

I'll send you a note when I'm in town wannabe--and any other crafters who might want to just on board, just send me a message--and maybe we can set up a craft meet time, or find another group together to meld with.

Re: knitting, I heard there might be a knitting circle at the Elegant Ewe in Concord? I don't know what street it's on but their yarn--though pricey!--is gorgeous! Might be a great place to meet some other knitters!

I'm in Salem NH, I'm fairly new to the area, and I don't know how close that is in terms of miles - but I'd like to know if a group gets going! I knit, spin, sew, make jewelry, blah, blah, blah... I basically have Craft ADD!

I have another friend in Kingston who is always a step or two ahead of me in any fiber-related craft, she might be interested too.
