    Secret Snowflake or Ornament Swaps?

Anyone interested in doing this again this year?

I can help organize the ornament swap, but I don't want to be the mail to person. I suck at getting things to the post office.

I'll organize and be the mail to person for the ornament swap if there is enough interest.

I'd maybe like to participate if the # doesn't go too high (beyond 20?) and if mailing to/from Canada isn't a problem (which it very well might be). No experience with swaps, mostly because I'm afraid of the Canada/U.S. border-shipping complication thing.

So yeah, I guess I'm in if it doesn't make it hell for you to organize, amanelle!

    Hey sarabell - maybe it's just one. I wasn't sure so that's why I asked, but I guess I wasn't clear. I'll try again:

Would the swap be to make just one, or one for everyone who was swapping?

(I expect my confusion comes because I am a swap virgin - sorry!)

The other ornament swaps I participated in we were divided into groups of 4-6. Each person does one less than the number of the group. If there are 6 people in your group you only do 5. Then you ship to the organizer and include a few dollars so the organizer can ship your ornaments back. The organizer distributes the ornaments in your group and ship them back to you. Since you would be the one to pay to have your ornaments back I don't think international shipping would be a problem. If people would be interested in doing it that post here and we'll see if there is enough interest to one.

I would be willing to participate in this style. there's no way I can make 20 or so ornaments, but 5 is a doable number. :)
