Hey Atlanta Crafters!

The Atlanta Craft Mafia is in the process of organizing our SUMMER INDIE-PENDENCE SALE. This is the summer redux of our wildly successful Ho Ho Ho-Made Holiday Trunk Show this past December, and after the amazing support from Oakhurst and its outlying communities, we anticipate excellent attendance!

Here are the event details:

DATE: Sunday, July 9, 2006
PLACE: The Solarium in Oakhurst Village (Decatur)
TIME: 12pm-5pm
COST TO PARTICIPATE: $70.00 for a 4'x6' space

The show will be juried due to limited space, and we want to make sure we get a wide variety of cool merchandise. This time around, we have an online application, and money will be due only if you are accepted. Here is the link to the event details and application:

THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, JUNE 19TH. Vendors will be notified of acceptance on Tuesday, June 20th, and booth fees will be due no later than Wednesday, June 28th.


HERE ARE SOME OTHER DETAILS:

•In addition to the extensive publicity we will be doing, we are asking each vendor to notify their customer database as well. We will be
making use of our extensive Atlanta Craft Mafia email list, as well as our individual companies’ email lists, submitting press releases to
local weekly and monthly publications, and advertising the event at local venues. We will also have email postcards for everyone to send

•We will be holding a charity raffle to benefit Paws Atlanta (www.pawsatlanta.com). Donating an item is optional but appreciated! We will also be charging $2 admission for shoppers, all of which will also go to Paws Atlanta.

•This is an indoor event. The Solarium is a lovely, light-filled space, perfect for an afternoon of shopping. hors d'oeuvres. cocktails. delicious.

•We will only be accepting vendors with handmade items.
