Calling all Hot Glue Gun Girls!

Hello, everyone! I wanted to let you know about a great event occurring in beautiful southern Indiana this September. If you're a creative crafter who loves to hang with your girlfriends, who wants to meet other crafters, wants to learn new crafts, and loves to shop, then this is the event for you!

A lovely September weekend in historic Corydon, Indiana will prove to be the perfect time for women to celebrate sisterhood while creating, exchanging and shopping for whimsical vintage items and crafts. The Hot Glue Gun Girls girlfriend weekend will provide the opportunity to share ideas, supplies and stories with old friends, while making some new ones!

This two-day event encourages creative women to participate in various crafting workshops, meet and mingle with other Hot Glue Gun Girls at a themed cocktail hour and luncheon, connect with the founder of girlfriendology dot com Debba Haupert, and shop at the “Seek Your Chic” Fair on the Square! Unique items include mixed media creations, soft sculpture, paper arts, handmade books, fiber art, jewelry and supplies to do your own creating.


Keynote speaker Debba Haupert believes “female friendships makes women healthier, happier, less stressed, and live longer and feel more beautiful. So, we're here to make the world a better place one friendship at a time.” The Hot Glue Gun Girls weekend will be an inspiring time of appreciation and celebration of female friendship, mixed with some sparkles and glue for crafty fun!


The event begins Friday evening, Sept. 16, with a themed cocktail party and vendor fair on the Corydon Square, followed by unique crafting workshops and luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Registration is open now through July 15, so interested participants are encouraged to go online to register at indianamuseum.org/sites/coryspec.html. There are still some vendor openings as well....if you sell unique crafts, supplies, or artwork, we'd love to have you! Vendor information is also available on the site.
