    That's a great suggestion. It may also be a nice way to broach the subject of the scary legal stuff. Kind of the "hey will you teach me to make your world famous XXX?" and while you're cooking broach the do you have your papers in order/is there anything I should know.

    I also want to make sure that my parents' home will continue to be safe for them as they get older. They aren't throw rug people, so falling shouldn't be a big problem. I hope that if they ever remodel their bathroom, they'll either install grab bars or at least reinforce the walls so they could be installed. Better to get it before they need it than have one more reminder of their limitations should they become infirm.
