Dream wedding dresses?
A while ago to cheer myself up I began bookmarking dream wedding dresses and cakes on flickr...I thought I'd show dresses I like (well links), but I can't yet due to post count, but you post your own favourites or actual wedding dresses?
I remember going into a shop once for wedding dresses and they started at about $1000 and I thought it was perfectly acceptable although I'd have to save up for the future only to find out they sell better ones as low as $250 in online stores! I definitely want one with some kind of swarovski style beads/crystal and lots of sparkly things, or some lace, but I have my heart set on some sparnkle to be honest...I like a sweetheart neckline and some kind of elegant straps, not like in a bikini or tank top.
I love those weddings gowns from disney 2011, the belle one, it is literally perfect. That's what I get for being raised on disney movies!

I do that from time to time to. This is one I found that I liked. I've always liked the off the shoulder dresses.

I'm engaged and getting married "eventually" (wouldn't having the money to get married be nice, eh?) and love to look at dresses for that reason and watch shows like Say Yes to the Dress. In the 1970's, my mother bought her wedding dress for about $1,000 so I can't imagine spending less than that now!

The disney dresses are great! I'm planning a wedding and I found a great vintage 1950s gown online that has the sweetheart neckline and full princess-esque skirt plus a removable lace over-dress with a train. I had planned to make my dress but this is better than I ever dreamed of, and I got it for less than I would have spent on fabric!

This is the dress that I would love! I actually am already married, we got married in Disneyland right in front of Cinderella's Castle. But it was really small and if we were to do it again this is the dress that I would love to have!
PS. this is my husbands account that I kind of took over! Lol.

I want a hot pink silk dupioni overbust corset and skirt. About this color:
fuchsia
I like the idea of having separates that I could mix into other outfits / costumes in the future. Also, I'm pretty pale so I think I'd look terrible in white and really most ivory and traditional wedding gowns kind of bore me. I like more color!

I've considered getting a second hand one so I can afford a truly dream dress.
