Intro of some sort
Hi everyone!
I noticed most of ya'll know each other but I am a bit of a new kid on a foreign block, so I figured I'd better introduce myself.
I am 39 years old and living with my boyfriend and 2 kitties in The Netherlands. Most of my crafting evolves around beading, but I do paper projects as well sometimes. Apart from that I love watching movies, tea, chocolate, Billy Connolly, lazying about in the garden (not too long of course) and photography. (Not necessarily in that order) I am a bit of a loner, so I am quite content being at home doing my thing.
Looking forward to meeting new people here. Let me know if you have any questions!

you sound like you'll fit in perfectly. i, myself, am a huge proponent of crafting, chocolate, and lazing about in the garden, so i think we'll get along quite nicely :)

Welcome to the boards! :o)

Welcome Armande! Thanks for the intro.
I do have a question: who is Billy Connolly?
-
Ah, I thought no one would ever ask! haha. He is a Scottish stand-up comedian, he is the best. He also acts and his most memorable role is in Mrs. Brown (a British movie).
I made him a modest tribute-page: http://kinesiologie.homestead.com/Billy.html
Ta for the welcome!

welcome! yes, lazing about the garden sounds perfectly crafty to me! i think there was an article int he new yorker on billy connelly; bit of an alcoholic, or used to be, working class guy who is very honest about his life and painfully funny. is this the same guy?
as far as intro's go: i'm jean. i live in new york city with my 10 month old boy and husband. i'm a writer and my book get crafty: hip home ec, is coming out in september and i'm excited and i bit nervous ab out the whole thing. i like cooking, cutting and sewing used clothes, decorating, having dinner parties, drinking wine and singing and making up bad dances with the little one. i'm addicted to british mysteries like prime suspect and inspector morse and have recently watched all 5 seasons of buffy on dvd.
anyone else want to intro?
