    bubbly bubble bath

i'm moving out in a few months time and into an apartment with a big ole glorious bath tub. Having spent the past 22 years sharing a bath tub/shower with my brother (and his stinky feet), i've never enjoyed the glories that is "the bath". i know i'm jumping the gun a bit on this one, but i was wondering if any of you could recommend a great bubble bath?

price is no factor for me, for i am about to embark on a decadent life of bubble baths. i may eat beans and toast for dinner, and wear the same sneakers for the past three years, but when it comes to bathing, i must have the best.

    so recommend away, please!

ok. i really like california baby bubble bath, both for my little and myself. it smells great and doesn't have any fucked up ingredients.

for a fancier bath: dr. haushka's rsoemary bubble bath, although $26, rocks my world!

good luck. baths are one of the great joys in life!

the key to making them bubbly is to pour the soap in while you're running the water and put it right under where the water is churning, then you maximize the bubbles. If you forget and put it in too late, it just doesn't churn up a lovely bubble bath. I have a rite aid near me and they have bubble bath with a little wand in it so you can sit in a bubble bath and blow bubbles, it's great :)

I love the Lush bubble bars, they are super bubbly and smell so good. My favorite is called Flowertub, it smells floral and grassy. They also make great bath bombs. It makes bathing totally indulgent. www.lush.com

interestingly, my new bath tub in my new apartment is within walking distance (!) of a Lush store. How cool is that? so i'll definitely check out "flowertub". and sun bear, i'll remember to run the bubbles directly underneath the tap to maximize my bubbleage.

you could make your own cheaply and efficiently, and be able to determine just exactly how bubbly you want your bubbly baths AND the scents (my favorite part...hint: vertivert and jasmine=ecstacy):

this recipe worked really really well for me. it made the most luxurious, beautiful bubble bath--way better than anything i've ever bought.

this one didn't work so well for me, but it might for you.

I love bubble baths - emphasis on the bubbles. I avoid bath/shower gels and only get stuff that specifically says bubble bath because I want a ton o' of bubbles. I recently discovered Dirty Girl bubble bath in "Lily-fresh scent". That's some good stuff. It's got a light, fresh scent and it truly delivers when it comes to the bubbles.
