I paid off my credit cards!

    holy crap!

This is an update on the ring vs. laser, totally self indulgent post.

I paid off all my cards! I am so happy. I was contemplating getting laser or a ring, but decided that paying off my shit was more important. I feel so much better. There's this huge weight that has been lifted off my chest.

Now, we're doing Mr. R's and we should be done with his in a 2 months. Then we can work on saving up for our house!

    Well done, Miss E!

Paying off debts feels amazingly better than buying some new thing.

It took me a few years (plus some scuba diving and skiing gear) to work that one out, but man, I only had to learn the lesson once!

Again, congratulations and enjoy the amazing feeling.

Good work Miss E. A huge load off your shoulders, I'm sure.

I'm about to pay off a car and it's putting a spring in my step, too!

I just wanted to chime in to say congratulations too! I'm sure there was a lot of temptation to "treat yourself" when you got a chunk of money, but you did the responsible thing. Good for you.

    Congratulations!

And what a great thing to post. I just put together a budget for getting mine (which are massive) paid off, and this is like inspiration.
