    antique wedding bands?

    does anyone know any good resources/online sites for antique wedding bands? I've found a few sites online, but nothing extensive.

    I'm looking for an antique wedding band, too. Have you been to antiquejewelrymall.com? They have some antiques and some reproductions. Sometimes you can get lucky on Ebay. I'd also be interested in other sites that people have found.

    Thanks so much for the website. It actually has quite a few rings that I like. It's so hard to decide on the right one.

    You might even try your local jewelers. We jsut got engaged about a month ago, and my ring is my fiance's great-great-aunt, from 1911. We had to take it to several places, trying to have it sized, and several of them had "estate" sections, with some beautiful items.

    Be careful, my ring is palladium (looks like platinum, and is stronger than platinum) and cannot be sized! We have decided to have a replica made, because I love it, and there's nothing else we can do.

    yes! the doyle sisters have a little boutique on the lower east side in manhattan, or at least they did. i haven't been there in a while. but they are super sweet girls and have gorgeous old jewelry at very reasonable prices. check out this site:
