to block or not to block (knitting)

I just finished making a scarf out of fun fur yarn. It turned out really well and was a fun, quick project.

However, I now have a dilemna. Do I bother blocking it? I understand the importance of blocking a sweater but do I need to block a scarf that's really just a long rectangle? Will it really lose it's shape?

don't block it. it's a total waste of time to block something made out of fur yarn.

Also, many synthetic yarns should not be blocked.

But yeah -- I never bother blocking scarves, anyway.

Thanks!! I'll skip the blocking and just start wearing it. :)
