I also have an extensive key chain collection from childhood but have no idea where it is now! Probably in a box from our move here!

    I also collect:
    Cherished Teddies
Hummels (only have one--too pricey for right now . . .)
Coffee mugs from places I've been (kind of stopped this one though)

    Used to collect:
    Beanie babies
    bottle caps (as a child)

    I collect cellulite, inadvertently :)

when i was younger, i used to have a button collection. i believe there's a picture of me as a childhood wearing every single one of them on my vest.

i don't collect anything now, but i think that once we move into a bigger place, i'd love to start collecting more books. my guy collects movies, dvds, and anything sports-related, so there's hardly any room right now for anything else!

Collecting things is fun, but I try to keep it practical -- I have to be able to wear it or use it.

OMG .... What don't I collect! I'm a total garage sale, flea market & thrift store junkie! In the last couple of years I've tried to keep things to a minimum and as practical as possible. I purged about 3/4 of my collectables but still collect a few things that I will never part with.

    vintage purses especially Collins purses
    vintage clothes and shoes
    vintage enamel flower pins
    rhinestone jewelry sets
    vintage Vera scarves
    Pucci slips and scarves
1950's kitchy kitchen stuff especially bowls
    vintage linen
    1950's lamps
    local art
    records
    cool material

and I do agree .... this is a FUN post:)

I collect botanical ceramics, that is ceramics with a plant shape or look. I also collect fabric, but that's because I don't have enough time to sew.

I collect vintage aprons. The collection is actually getting a little out of hand, but I can't stop. And mary jane shoes. I have 13 pairs.

I also pick up any other vintage clothes and kitchen stuff I come across, but I don't activly seek them out the way I do aprons.

I don't really intentionally collect things, but I have ended up with a shot glass collection and a button collection--like the 1" buttons, not shirt buttons (but actually most of them are bigger than 1"). I got one, found a few more at an antique store, and now people give them to me and I'm the Girl with All the Buttons on Her Bag. How emo of me.
