What's the name of this school
It teaches crafts like weaving and ceramics etc (more crafts than fine arts). It is located in one of the Carolinas and I think it might be Greensomething (but I could be wrong on the Green thing). It is really famous. They teach year round but their summer programs are really well known. I know someone here will know what I am talking about.

penland school of crafts
i've had some of the best times of my life while studying there (and, to be fair, while drinking wine and chatting with so many devoted artists in one place, doing what they love).
it's a totally amazing place. it's nearby where i live, so feel free to ask me anything you want to know about it.

Penland is awesome. I haven't gone there directly (yet!), but i've benefited by metalsmithing and textile artists going who have then taught me!
Arrowmont in Gatlinburg,TN is also a good school.

Thanks it was Penland. I dream of take a vaca there.
Now where did I get "Green" from? *shrug*

i don't know, but it's in the mountains, which are very lush and green.
and btw, they have great work-study opportunities which would pay for room and board and half of your tuition, if money is an issue.
