    Crafty Business Names!

I'm starting a crafting business, but I have no idea what to call it! I want something creative and cool (like I love the name knit wit). If anyone can give suggestions that would be great! Here's a couple things about me that could help in forming a name:
    I live in Colorado
I do all sorts of crafts (so the name can't have like jewlery or knitting in it)
    I love the color teal
Anything in French would be cool
    Thanks so much!

How about: Eclectic Mountain Crafts (can't go wrong with EMC)

Good luck with your business. :)

This will translate your words from English to French. The French word for craft is "metiers." The only problem is getting people to pronounce it correctly. Good luck!

It doesn't really have to do with crafts or any of the things I listed, but I think I decided on Fresh Serendipity Crafts. Does that sound OK?

It's pretty cool... though maybe just Serendipity Crafts would be cool... has a neat ring to it.
    Good luck starting out! :)

What about just plain serendipity? Catchy - and I love the word!

i love creating new names for things! it's so much fun! when you get a few that you think will work, try doing a google search for that name and see what pops up. i only mention because there are so many trademark issues going on lately that it might be better to be safe than sorry.

in any case, good luck with your business. i love the idea of taking a word or two that mean something significant to you and translating it to french. that would not only be unique but meaningful to you for years to come.

Serendipity is good, but its taken by a lot of other companies already... do a quick google search... how about Chez La La? Or Oooh La Aqua? That really rolls off the tongue... (I love naming things too!!!) or Viva La Aqua!! Or Como Tallez Vous? ..or La Femme Colorado... (sorry for bad french spelling...)
I think Oooh La Aqua is my favorite...

I always think any name is ok. Quite quickly people forget the name and focus on what the business is doing

I like Serendipity, but I agree, it may be already taken. Do you have an unusual nickname? My Etsy shop name (KloCreations) stemmed from the nickname Klo, (yes, spelt like that...) so you could try that idea. Maybe there is something about your crafts that is unique, like, if you put a (bad example) teal heart on all your items, then you could be called tealheartcrafts or something like that, but maybe more inventive, and something that flows a little better. Good Luck!
