Oy I need ideas for curtains that are too short!!

Hi,

I just bought these really nice curtains on sale but the are about inches too short and the window shows. I wouldn't mind if it were short from the floor but I think they look a little silly with some window showing.

Any ideas?

Add fabric to the top or bottom? Choose a coordinating color or pattern so it looks like it was on purpose.

When I moved to my flat which has wonderful windows (that are all bigger than me) I had to make all the curtains I already had longer as I didn't have any cash to either make or buy new ones. I just sewed bands of fabric onto the bottom of them in coordinating colours. They all look really good and it means you have a flash of more expensive material that might be to costly to make an entire pair of curtains out of. Have fun with it!
