YoYo DIY is the best craft show ever! It's a Taiwanese show where they do cute little things and these grownups act totally goofy. It's on the local Chinese channel here, KTSF, afternoons. They started having subtitles the last time I watched. Where else could you learn how to make pan pipes out of bubble tea straws?

I love Rachael Ray on Food Network...someone you can probably hang out with. Same goes for Anthony Bourdain- too fun!

Unfortunately, my most favorite crafting shows tend to run towards the goofy- yes, Craft Corner Deathmatch and Iron Chef!! Amber on Craft Corner Deathmatch rocks. And, of course, if I'm ever in the mood to cook an entire octopus, tentacles and all, well, thank the gods for Iron Chef! The Japanese show, not this latest Iron chef America crap... boring!

I'll have to check out the book.

I agree with the House of Style dvd, too, let me know if you start a letter writing campaign ;)

I've been watching the DIY network a lot lately. I really like Jewelry Making--they make neat things, and the title is so to-the-point!--and Knitty Gritty, even though I felt kind of bad the other day when I couldn't understand the beginner level scarf for the life of me. America's Test Kitchens on PBS is really neat too because they test all these different ingredients until they're able to give you the BEST possible recipe for whatever they're making.
