    Just some environmental links...

I found a few websites and thought I'd share.

www.gogreeninitiative.org- This is about setting up recycling programs in our school systems, and how you and I can help out. Very good for any craftys with children.

www.usa.canon.com/cleanearth.com- If you have a Canon printer, this will tell you the way to properly dispose of the used ink cartridges in the US and Canada (I'm not sure about other countries, sorry.) When you use your cartridges, you can send them through UPS to Canon for them to recycle. If you're in Canada you need a special mailing label, that you can get through Canon online or when you buy supplies. You can mail them either in the box they came in, or in a large box with multiple cartridges (they even supply a special box if you're interested in that route).

    Any other sites out there?

This is a slightly funny environmental news site (much funnier than the normal environmental news sites, but it's not the funniest thing ever!). The "Ask Umbra" column is my fave- she answers all the strange questions you've ever wondered about- like is paper really better than plastic??
And of course all the click-to-donate ones:
