Is Guys Gone Wild really that popular?
In college I took a women and devience class. One discussion involved women making porn from a female perspective. We watched a clips of a porn film made by a female director and then discussed it afterwards. It was different and pretty good. Wouldn't it be nice if instead of women ormen being exploited more porn was made that was erotic and good?
Not that all porn is bad, mind you. I like a lot of it. But this Bang Bus crap has just got to go. Unfortunately it's pretty popular.
um, Bang Bus is staged... how many girls walking down the street would just happen to agree to be in a porno? and even then, how many of them would HAPPEN to be packing a string of anal beads? and on top of that, coincidentally be able to deep-throat like a pro?
the same people do Captain Stabbin' (how lame is it that i know this) and i kind of don't think they really toss the girl overboard and leave. also, most of them are anal scenes. you can't just take a giant cock in the ass without a little practice...
i'm not saying it makes the Bang Bus type videos acceptable, but they ARE staged. like GGW.
personally, i don't like "erotic" porn. i'd be all over it if women directors came out with porn i liked, but i'm not into story lines or cuddling in my porno.
Argh, I know! I am a big fan of naked people, but there is so much awful, degrading porn out there that can really, erm, ruin the mood when I come across it. For instance, I have never seen Bang Bus, but I have come across something called Chick Tricks, which is based on the concept of getting girls into pornos... and then not paying them the money they were promised. I remember one that involved girls exchanging sexual favors for rent, too.

i'm begining to thing this -porn by women for women - is an urban ledgend. if anyone can reccommend any do tell! you know...for a friend of mine.

Veronica Hart, Candida Royalle, Annie Sprinkle, Nina Hartley and Chloe are all former (Nina is still and Chloe too I think) porn actors who have gone on to direct/produce films. Veronica Hart and Chloe in particular are a bit more mainstream but still manifest a female touch and p.o.v., such as the use of condoms unless the performers are involved i.r.l., and the female actors are more in control. For example, Veronica Hart directed Chloe in "Barbara Broadcast Too!" a tribute/remake of a classic porn film. There is an anal sex scene in which Chloe is clearly enjoying it (in interviews and the commentary for the DVD, she says she is a big fan of anal sex), and not in a faked-out ooo degrade me sort of way - actually quite tender. Kind of hard to explain, but if you've seen anal scenes in which the guy just bangs away, you know what I mean. Nina Hartley's are of the instructional variety, with topics such as oral sex (for men and for women), masturbation, and swinging, with a sex scene at the end. She's a sort of earth mother cheerleader personality, very perky and open. Candida Royalle's films are aimed mostly at couples and have a lot of storyline. She hates "cum shots", prefers actors with natural bodies, and is known for having a very supportive environment on set. Annie Sprinkle has progressively moved into more and more new-agey and spiritual stuff.
They aren't the only ones, either. Sites like Babeland.com, blowfish.com, and honeysuckleshop.com are women-owned/operated/friendly and can guide you through their selections. The Honeysuckle Shop also has a link to an erotic theater feature that allows you to rent downloads (if you have a Windows PC, sorry Mac users). Bluedoor.com rents DVDs and videos online; you get them in the mail and have to return them in a certain window of time.
don't forget Good Vibrations!
i love them! i was about to buy a vibrator at the Berkeley store, and when she asked if i needed condoms, i mentioned that i am allergic to latex. she told me that any "jelly" sex toys (like the one i was about to buy) have a little bit of latex in them, and suggested some other toys that are latex free. i was so impressed by how well she knew the products, and how nice she was. they have a selection of videos on their website, and all of them are geared towards women.
for anal, you have to check out Tristan Taormino! i'm not really into doin' it in the butt, but her website (i think it's www.puckerup.com) is really awesome.
okay, back to topic...
