sooo..does anyone remember the Electric Grandmother?

Another one I was obsessed with was Gleaming the Cube. I thought Christian Slater was the so hot. Who knew he'd turn out to be a butt pincher.

eta: nevermind..just saw where someone posted that they remember it. sorry!

I just loved (and still love) any and all of those Greek/Roman/Arabian Nights sorts of special effects films.

I can't believe somone elose saw Emmett Otter's jugband christmas! I didn't even remember it until you mentioned it! My family had these things called Video Discs. They were like really big DVDs that played on both sides like records. My dad had all these old movies that I watched.
I loved Erroyl Flynn movies when I was a kid--Robin Hood, Seahawk, and Captain Blood.

What about "A Christmas Story?" Where the kid can't get a bb gun because he'll shoot his eye out?

Bugsy Malone and The Apple Dumpling Gang were staples of the early years! I also remember that movie in which Don Knots falls in the ocean and becomes a fish, but I can't remember the name.

My high school years were filled with Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair (my hippie phase). Oh and I can't forget The Princess Bride, I just found it at a rummage sale for a dollar and was so excited!
