    Seen any good movies lately?

I have $40 worth of blockbuster giftcards plus I have the rewards program where I can free older movies. I need some suggestions. What have you seen that's good?

I rented the other night a documentary called 9\11. It started out as a documentary about a rookie firefighter in NYC that they were going to follow around for 9 months. In the middle of it Sept. 11th happened. I really liked it because it didn't focus on the horror or shock value. It focused on the firefighters. Of course I cried at the end, but it was an amazing documentary.

In the last few weeks I got "Frida" and "Nightmare Before Christmas" from the library and really enjoyed both.

I watched I am sam the other day. I do not cry at movies.

I was sobbing, but partly it might have been b/c I was making a tough decision to return a dog I just adopted, but the movie was very powerful, about the bond between sam who is mentally handicapped and his daughter who is of average/good intelligence, it was really touching.

I watched Monsoon Wedding, which was about an Indian wedding. Good!

And, uh, School of Rock was kind of cute.

I feel like a loser for admitting that! Ha!

I loved school of rock! I read in a review something to the effect that "the movie will have you playing air guitar as you're leaving" and i completely agree, it's the kind of movie that will make you want to buy a drumset and start a band, even if you're not 12. I also love doing the "this is ned schneibley" bit with my b/f when he calls me, i have caller id so i can move the phone around etc and say "this is ned schneibley" in that funny voice :-D

    hello...
we just watched a kids in the hall reunion show/documentary.
i hope they keep going together forever.

we watched human nature by charlie kaufman and that french guy that did eternal sunshine but it didn't click with me really.

our next movie is an erroll morris documentary called doctor death.

netflix is fun but they don't have foul play.
which is a bummer but i should buy it anyway.
