I don't know how to help your husband, but if you have children (or just planning to have ) this may help I heard that you have to allow your children to play with cats as soon as possible (I mean in early childhood). They say it prevents them from being allergic to all animals

When my first chikd was five, we tried to get a cat and wham! here comes the itchy watery eyes, the mood changes, and non-stop scratching, so I feel your pain.
I went without cats for 18 years. I started collecting every cat nick nack I could find, but I never got over missing a cat, so going without totally will not work for your relationship.
Allergy shots helped. If hubby is up to it, you couldd at least see an allergist. Zyrtec & Claritin are both good.
Odds are he also has other just as bothersome allergies he needs to know about, but he may not have been exposed to yet.

It removes the saliva from the fur and reduces dander, just wiping the fur with a damp cloth is said to have some effect.
Well, that works as a good option.

Great thread! Though it is old, it is still useful. I'm glad that I've found it as I also have allergy and my wife can't imagine her life without cats. I asked my doctor about medications and he told me that Zyrtec can help. I've already read about this med on the Online pharmacy website and checked side effects and contraindications. Thanks for sharing your experience, guys, I'll try to find a cat and the pills that will allow me to live with a cat in one house.

That's true that cats can be annoying sometimes but how can you not love those adorable furballs? I agree that pets can ruin your house, especially when they got fleas. You'll need to clean everything with chemicals, a house and a backyard, not to mention a pet itself. Each cat owner should know how to get rid of cat fleas anyway.
