Intro and Question on Gift Wrap

Hi Everyone! We move around a lot and after almost a year in our current home I'm finally unpacking and organizing my sewing room / office / craft room. We are currently in Hyderabad, India, after two years in Central Africa. We've also lived in San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

We have a little girl who's nearly old enough to start crafting projects of her own. I have fond memories of spending time in my mom's sewing room as a kid and I'd like to recreate that for my own little Muffin.

I like to blog, but the two I have going aren't quite right for crafting, so I've been looking for a place where I can ask questions and share ideas and projects. I have one blog for our travels and living overseas and another for gluten-free foods. I'm also a runner and professionally I'm a writer and editor.

I'm interested in printing my own designs on wrapping paper. Is there any type of paper for a laser printer that you all could recommend? Regular office paper is a tad thicker than I'd like. Or can anyone recommend a good website for custom printed gift wrap? Thank you!
