    Cool DIY Solar Light Craft

Here is a creative way to give your Dollar Store solar lights a makeover. I used twigs and twine to hang them all around my deck to provide a soft light. This is a fun way to change your solar lights to make them look more natural. You can use your imagination to change this idea to match your outdoor colors too. Maybe you can paint your sticks or use colored string. The possibilities are endless. Thank you so much for watching.

Looks like Jhon, or is it John? (He probably doesn't even know how to say it......) has been posting on all your stuff too....real annoying. Anyways, I really want to try this! How long do you think it will take start to finish?

Thanks VinylCraft. It doesn't really take much time to do one of these. I cant say for sure how long it actually took because I did not time myself. hehe It goes pretty fast once you get the hang of it. Cutting the branches to the size you need is what takes the longest. I cut a bunch of sticks to the size I wanted so that putting several of them together would be quick and easy. I am very pleased at how they look in the daytime AND at night. They give off a very nice glow.

During my search for solar lights, I came across a paint that when applied to stepping stones for example, cause them to glow at night! Similar to your solar lights, but a strange new twist!
